In a special step and on the occasion of the 8th of March “Women International Day” and within the framework of the “Decreasing Women’s Marginalization” project funded by the “Open Society Institute”, Khiam center has organized a series of activities, most notably: Honoring 50 women former detainees that have been tortured in it’s center in Deir Siryan Village. Activities Program on the the 8th of March - Honoring 50 freed detaniee women at Marjayoun area and give them freedom medals on the 7th of March at 11 o'clock am in the Lebanese Detainee House at Derseryan town. - On the 7th of March at 4 o'clock pm displaying a play entitled "Hawamich" that shows discrimintation and violence against woman at Babel theater Hamra. - Honoring 5 ex-detainees at the Syrian Prisons and give them freedom medals on the 8th of March at 11 o'clock am at Al-Mena municipality. - A workshop entitled "Woman between international conventions and the Lebanese Law" on the 11th of March at 11 o'clock am in Commodore Hotel, where Lawyers and Palestinian and Lebanese women bodies are participating in it. ...
