The Follow-up Committee for the Support of Lebanese Detainees has organized its Annual Dinner 2004 in support of
the Khiam Rehabilitation Center and in solidarity with the Palestinian Population in the Royal Plaza Hotel on 7/7/2004 at 8:00 pm.
During the dinner, speeches were made by the Palestinian Minister of Social Affairs, UM Jihad Al-Wazir -speech of the Palestinian President Mr. Yasser Arafat, wife of the Palestinian Parliament member Marwan El-Barghothi, Mrs. Fadwa El-Barghouti, and Mr. Mohammed
Safa.
Mr. Safa and the ex-detainee, Anwar Yassine, presented symbol of the Lebanese Detainees to Mrs. UM Jihad Al-Wazir and Marwan
El-Barghouty.
Around 200 social and political personalities attended the dinner party.
