Because you all felt with
us the pain of the photos that shook the world,
Because your sympathy reached us all,
Because you all asked whether she was able to survive or not,
Here is the story of Ali and his mother Mountaha.
The Story of Mountaha Shaeito and her son Ali.
(The following introduction is translated from the Safir Newspaper of
September 7 issue from an article written by Hanady Salman)

"Mom, mom, please don't die"!
He was screaming, yelling and crying, and his mother underneath his eyes.
He took a piece of her head veil and tied with it her injured arm and
shoulder, and he tried to sooth her pain telling her: "Mom, please be
patient, the Red Cross is on its way".
She felt that she is dying, and that death is approaching her, so she
whispered to her son: "Take care of your brother Abbas, i am dying", then
her eyes were turned back and she lost conscious.
Ali hit his forehead with his hand crying, screaming and hugging her?"Mama,
mama".
Ali didn't realize that his mother wasn't dead until after the red cross
arrived.
Ali is 13 years old, this brave boy who lost the world in the moment when
he thought that his mother died under his tears, is smiling again...
Mountaha has deep wounds in her shoulder and arm, and she needs many
surgical operations...but she survived..
I will be trying to translate the whole article, but i wanted today to
share with?you the first photo of Ali and Mountaha smiling after the
terror they have passed through.
